miracle grow and what nute to use for flowering????

how long do i flower before its time to harvest..climate is 75- 78 degrees
intake and outtake fans..3 ft by 2 1/2 grow box 5 plants mg soil 4/100 6500k watt daylight bulbs cfls..pics above..plants only about 7inches with big leaves
mid grade seeds...plan on switching to warm light 2500 k lumens for flowering..is this correct??????
i have red skunk seeds but want to see how first grow goes!??

2700K is better for flowering. If your using pre-ferted MG soil, and I do too, so it's not the end of the world like some would have you believe...just be careful adding anything else...read the plants...I usually just use 1/2 tablespoon of molasses (unsulphured blackstrap...get it at a healthy grocery store)as an additive every other watering towards the end, but I would rather underfeed than overfeed at this point of the grow...this helps it suck up more nutes when they start getting low in the soil towards the end of flowering...the plants will tell you when they need any other nutes while finishing up...study up on nutes (and deficiencies or overages)in the JC grow bible available here:

i just got some bloom booster in a box..that says use 1 tablespoon per gallon..plan on maybe using more like a teaspoon to see what happends....
is that a good thing to do..or just leave it be...and if yes when do i start to introduce bloom booster....just came from lowes so the 2700k are ready..

In my opinion you will not be ready to flower in two weeks. Ur plants r still so small. I like to wait until the nodes start alternating before I flower. But I have the room to let them get as tall as they want. I just feel u should only force flower when the plants r mature.

And what does alternate nodes exactly mean??

You read that whole grow bible already? LOL! dam speedreader! Usually about 9 nodes up...(a node is where a branch comes off the main stem) counting up from the bottom or soil they are generally "mature" in veg when you count nine....also, at this time the plant may go from two branches leaving the main stem opposite each other, and change to one going off one way and a little further up another will go off in the opposite direction or alternating nodes. You can veg anytime you want as long as seedlings and clones have a few roots going, but for best results, wait until the plants are ready, not when YOU are ready...LOL! It won't hurt anything but yield if you flower early tho. Don't just randomly throw nutes at them either...they will tell you when they need something if you carefully observe the leaves and the plant as a whole....if you absolutely MUST put something on them, dilute it at first and see how the plants react to what you've done, then adjust as needed and watch the plants....ALWAYS watch the plants...oh, yea, and read the books!
