No, although I don't support boycotting most of the centers who donated. Very few had anything to do with the final product. Guilt by association never strikes me as particularly fair, though.

For me, the major reason commercial growers should face regulation and inspection is consumer protection. I'm concerned with three areas in particular: contamination, patient privacy, and honesty in labeling and measurement. We know MMCs sell moldy and pestilential medication. We should promulgate regs that prevent and punish this behavior. We know MMCs have misused and misplaced confidential data. I don't have any interest at all in regulating non-commercial sales between caregivers and their patients, but businesses open to the public should have to comply with the rules and standards of their community, from the city fire code to the 14th Amendment as other businesses do.

Free market would eliminate all this, probably faster than the government could/would. Would you buy wilted moldy lettuce when you can go down the street and but fresh lettuce?
This is the EXACT problem with the United States today. People like you feel the average citizen can't make decisions anymore and we need the government to regulate. Do a little research and find out how the founders of our country feel about this. It's sickening how readily people like you will give up freedom for safety, and your numbers are growing thanks to the BS they feed us in schools now.
I would be willing to bet you are all for this global warming fiasco too, aren't you? Readily awaiting your carbon tax when in reality it's the sun spots causing the temperatures to fluctuate (normal solar activity). They are using you! Really? Then explain why the surface of Venus is hotter than the surface of Mercury even though it is twice the distance from the sun as Mercury. Couldnt be because its atmosphere is 96% carbon dioxide, because according to you the amount of CO2 is irrelevant, so whats causing it? Those sunspots are missing mercury and hitting Venus?
