Pollen sack storage?
Interesting question. I've never even thought of storing the pollen for possible future use. Try posting this question in the "Growing Information" section also. You may have better luck in receiving responses.
Good luck to you.

Pollen sack storage?
You accually want to save the pollen..You would remove the plant and cover with a trashbag and kinda rustle it around from the bottom of the plant stalk briskly,a couple shakes is enough.Collect the pollen and keep it dry..Once it gets wet is null and void. Store in cool dry place.Maybe the crisper drawer in the fridge. When you get ready to use it.Just brush one branch, with a little artist brush. You could cross several plants with this technique. On the same plant..Just mark the branches with colored bread ties.

Also, use care not to have an 'unauthorized release' of the pollen. Turn off the fans, no sneezing, no dropping the pollen container...
Like GaGrown inferred...no pollen sacks, just keep the pollen. The pollen sacks are moist, and sealing them in with the pollen will kill the pollen.

Pollen sack storage?
Can you clarify this a bit for me? I just had a nice Pineapple Punch herm due to poison stress. I cut the plant down, collected the pollen sacks, and cleaned out a little glass vial.

Will the pollen still be viable?

Like I said.... Moisture will kill the viability of the collected pollen. When you collect it the pollen sacks should be open and releasing pollen. Those pollen sacks are not yet ready to be collected.. It's a timing thing.
