Hey All...mind if I chime in Bourner? The molasses will not make the final product sweeter to taste, so tell Mr.Sweet lung to relax...LOL! Good weed will get sticky whether you add molasses or not! Here's where you can read what molasses does and does not do...it basically provides some needed micro nutrients and potassium and iron, and helps the roots take up more general nutrients than they could without molasses, plus it's natural and cheap....it's the base (diluted) for more expensive products like bud candy and sweet....for more info, read this thread:

http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-gr...-goodness.html

I use it and it does help in flowering...doses varying from 1 teaspoon/gallon early on, to 1.5 tablespoons/gal near the end...there is little to no Nitrogen in the molasses, so stopping the doseing will not promote faster flowering...two weeks into flower is when I switch to flowering nutes, if needed, and they are much lower in N. I still flush last week with water only....I don't like my weed tasting like burnt sugar...Hope this info helps!

Yes, the only downside to using molasses is it attracts gnats!
