    Schwag, anyone?

I just started growing, so I'm trying some schwag seeds out of my last twenty sack. Do the growing methods differ from those of dro? And if so, in what way?

    My grow:
I turned my whole closet into a grow room. Two plants just sprouted, about to plant four more. I am using the fluorescent bulbs you would use for a ceiling fan and what-not, and have one dedicated to each plant. Also a heater to keep it around 80*. Is this going to be effective, and is there anything I should change. I'm too broke for HIDs unfortunately.

    Thanks guys =]]

Please don't call good weed dro....dro is just short for hyDROponically grown weed and it's not necessarily better than soil grown weed. But to answer your question....HUH? Are you growing in soil or hyDRO? 100w (actual) per plant of CFLs(? is this what u mean?) in the 6500K range will do for veggin, (not sure what you mean by one light per plant...if they are 100w rated and only use 23w, you will need 4 per plant) but better start saving for an LED, HID or something more for flowering if you want some decent bud when it's done. One 23w light per plant is not enough! Temps in veg should be 78F and 50-80%RH with fresh air constantly moving over the plants. There are numerous ways to grow it, and most work fine. But there is really no difference in growing techniques from great DNA seeds to bagseed...it still grows basically the same. Read the section here on lighting first, then all the sticky's, then go to the Cannabis lounge and download all the books and videos you could ever want (look for it), and study up if you're serious about growing. G/L!

Thanks a ton. Sorry about the terminology, thats what I'm used to referring to good weed as in a buying standpoint, I just now got involved in the growth world. I'm growing in soil, and yeah those are the bulbs I'm using and I only have one per plant at the moment, but I will find a way to go to four. Any particular distance above they should be? I have them at about four inches above the plant. I want some HIDs pretty bad, they just aren't at all cheap. What alternatives for flowering are there, if any? Thanks again for the help.

Hey MrFoxx,, glad to see u are getting ur first gro all sorted bro. The way I would go is to get tome t8 2 blub fixtures & connect them side by side that way u get good overall coverage. That should doo much better then those cfls but hold on the them for flowering best of luck.
