    Fungus gnats and grubs

Well it turns out the bugs r worse then i thot. I watered them and was disgusted by how many little bastards i saw. I have like 4 different stages of a fungas gnays life in my plant soil. Eggs, larva, mites and adults. Imma get the sand n traps tomm n start this project. Dont ever use soil thats been sittn outside.

"The sand is a good idea but is flawed.

I forgot about this!!!!! I use smart pots (fabric pots) so this is not an issue, nor is the air flow to the roots... but yes I can see this in plastic pots for sure. These bugs are sneaky little bastards haha

Also im a little short on soil for my plants, i used organic choice soil andbi happen to have some reg soil to that i once used, i ran out o f the organic so i was wondering if itd be a bad idea to fill the last 1 1/2" - 2" of soil with reg soil. Caus now one of my plants is leaning and also growing toward the light so its startn to look all stupid n shit

I also be puttin the sand around the base of the plant in the drain catch to cover up these holes yu speak of. Glad yu be mentionin this very good point.
