I forgot about this!!!!! I use smart pots (fabric pots) so this is not an issue, nor is the air flow to the roots... but yes I can see this in plastic pots for sure. These bugs are sneaky little bastards haha
I also be puttin the sand around the base of the plant in the drain catch to cover up these holes yu speak of. Glad yu be mentionin this very good point.

Fungus gnats and grubs Ive had these fungus gnats ever since i transplanted my plants into this organic soil, ive been using fly traps and what not to catch adults, i heard sand on top of the soil will suffocate the eggs. N i heard peroxide will kill the grubs but i wanna see of theres anything else i can do, i dont want buds to start with these damn grubs Rating: 5
