I'll probably get some pH down before Sunday water, it's just one of those things that you can easily spend 5-10x the money on a "solution" at a hydro store, when you could just as easily figure out what's in it and spend pennies. A friend of mine had to spray his plants and the guy told him just mix a certain type of dish soap with water and you have the same shit, at a fraction of the cost.

Hey y'all, just checked my pH and it looks like it increased to green (which is somewhere around 7.5 maybe?), so I grabbed some lime juice out of the fridge, added about 30 drops to 5 gallons of water, and it lowered it to an acceptable level. can anyone see any adverse effects of adding the lime? I use promix-bx and general organic nute line. they are in 5 gal pots. I only did it because I didn't have time to go to the hydro store today to get pH down, but if it works, then I don't have to Rating: 5
