ph down - lime juice ?
Hey y'all, just checked my pH and it looks like it increased to green (which is somewhere around 7.5 maybe?), so I grabbed some lime juice out of the fridge, added about 30 drops to 5 gallons of water, and it lowered it to an acceptable level.
can anyone see any adverse effects of adding the lime? I use promix-bx and general organic nute line. they are in 5 gal pots. I only did it because I didn't have time to go to the hydro store today to get pH down, but if it works, then I don't have to go, right?
I don't water again until Friday at 3pm EST, so none of the lime-altered water will be used until then...
thanks in advance. here's some recent pics
1. northern foreground, super silver haze to the right
2. bubblegum
3. white widow
4. northern top cola close up
5. super silver haze close up
closing in on 4 weeks, about 24 days into flower...henrybemis Reviewed by henrybemis on . ph down - lime juice ?
