I don't usually respond to advertisments but this one I'll make an exception for.

So - the other week I go to a cannabis dispensary in Ann Arbor who shall remain nameless. I give them a credit card to pay a donation to the cause. It is approved. The bill comes... I check it. The dispensary charge is on the bill. I pay the bill in full.

A few weeks later I have to go to see the cancer butcher so I stop at the same place and they no long take credit. Why? Because they got stiffed on the payment I had authorized and paid in full. The credit card company apparently pocketed my payment.

How in the heck is this legal?

Perhaps when our Senator is finished building his billion dollar turtle fence he could find the time to explain why this lapse in due process is something he supports.
