    LOOING FOR GROWER

I know you may not want to hear it, but for someone who is also a patient to also be a caregiver could possibly require more then the crop they presently have growing for themselves. I started out using a dispensary, the same one all the time. When I got the opportunity to grow my own finally it turned into a major disaster. Last year ripped off, and this year what I had left taken by LEO. The only dispensaries I know in the closest general area are all in Tacoma. I'd start there until you can find some one willing to take a chance with another patient. I wish you luck in finding your medicine.

Local glass shop said to get a medical card and return and they'd put me in touch with a grower. I returned with one recently and they said they no longer help find growers, so now I seem to be dead in the water. Currently, growing for myself is not an option.

I have original THCF authorization papers that can be reviewed.
I'm hoping that the time and expense acquiring them won't go to waste.
    Anyone interested?

So Analog, what is your qualifying condition? Got the medical records to prove it?

You bet I've got documentation, although I'm not willing to post it online. I have degenerative joint disease, due to which I've had my fourth knee surgery this past December and am looking at more. I'm too young for knee replacements, therefore the Drs. just keep scooping up the cartilage in my knee that's been coming off like shredded wheat since 2005, leaving me in pain every day since.

I'd meet ya at a convenient location and you can go over the documentation, as well as see the THCF authorization.

    Thanks for your consideration.

I've been told to get knee replacements and I refuse. It really is quite a barbaric surgery and it is a crap shoot whether or not it works or not. I'm not willing to take the chance. I can live with the pain, the MJ helps. You just have to alter your lifestyle a little to deal with the disease.

I'm of the same frame of mind, but I need to be able to walk to do the things I want to do in life. And I'm not ready for the hovaround!!!! And, I damn sure can't pay for a knee myself so, its smoke, smoke smoke, and walk as little as possible to keep the pain down. If I get caught on the wrong foot taking a leak.......bowl time!!! :lol5:

Thought I'd chime in since we're talking about knees. Have had 2 right and 3 left knee surgeries and need more. Was told I am too young for replacement although I'm in my late 40s. Also have an artificial disk in low back and recently had an intrathecal pump surgery which helps a little. Also have DDD throughtout mid-low back and arthritis.
Finally, had an MRI last week of my neck and apparently shows bulging disks there also. Going to try some facet injections and hope that helps with the neck pain.
Until then, as Gyp said, its smoke smoke smoke.
Anyway, best of luck to you in finding your meds. I'm sort of in the same boat but it takes time for prople to get to know you and what you're about. Safety first

Analog, shoot me an email for ya. I would not expect you to lay out the crap online other than the basic. Gather records that show that you are refractory to all standard treatments, except surgery.....and any reasons surgery would be harmful to you...in a doctors mind. If you know how to use the PM function here, use it from the main can com page.

As far as knee replacements....I have witnessed the surgery, yes, it is barbaric. I have also seen folks go from horrid pain to functional. My (I hope) daughter-in-law to be is in her early 20's and had a knee replacement in her teens as she destroyed her knee practicing for the Olympics. She functions normally now, I can't even tell she had the surgery. The bad part about knee replacement is the physical therapy after the surgery. That is painful and the better you do early the better the long term result.

Same holds true for hips, and they often have much more trouble after the fact than the knee surgery.
