Poker2 - Grow Log (First Grow!)

So for those of you that don't know me i'm Poker2!
This is my first grow. About December 17,2010 was when the seedling sprouted. January 10,2011 transplanted from party cup to medium sized pot(one you see in pics). May be time to transplant again soon. Sorry didn't start the log from day 1 =(..never thought of that.

Here are pictures right now. Leaves a crispy feeling and 95% of the older leaves are showing signs of nute burn from Miracle Grow Soil. Lights are CFL's 23W=100w equivalent, about 4" away from top of her. Still not sexed...it's about 6 days into flowering (12/12)...was on(16/8...on/off)
I still do not see any signs of sex

Strain: BubbleGum x OgKush (bubba kush)

Here's where I'm at :jointsmile:
Is this pretty much what my final yield will be?
Should I flush soon or not at all?
Why is the plant drooping?... watered 3 or 4 days ago ...but still a little moist
How much does nute burn(on the leaves i can see..) effect bud production?(Is it positive or netgative)
Should I cut off some of the fan leaves to let light to the lower buds?

The reason for the growth is the lighting. I have heard that CFL grows usually take a little longer to mature.

Oh WOWW!!!! That's awesome. I wish mines was half as good as that...I'm guessing experience plays a huge part of that huh?:thumbsup:
I'm at day 47 of FLOWER (+ 1month of veg before that) and it said to flower for 8weeks (Which is 56days) so I only have 9 more days left? Or I should leave it for longer? (Don't have a magnifine glass and will be going by looking at the color of most of the pistils..as they get older they turn brown'ish color)
I'm only nutes the plant got was from the soil and it had nute burn all it's life almost... so should I flush? And would that cause even more nute burn?

Not done yet by my guess.

How long has it been in flower?

My best guess would be it's got about 2 more weeks, but that's a guess.
If you've been using extra nutes, start flushing now and if it finishes off earlier your still set.
it's drooping?
Depends on the severity, what I'm seeing in the pics is pretty much normal for most of the strains I've got going.
There's different schools of thought on trimming fan leaves. One say's yes, cut em off to let light down to lower buds. the other, and the one I'm a member of says NO don't cut them off, they are providing the food for the plant. Plants NEED their leaves for photosynthesis.

Looks pretty good tho, you'll get some fair smoke from it for sure! :jointsmile:

Pic is my last harvest,... you can see the tips of the leaves are getting pretty burned,.... so I don't think you've got anything to worry about.

Oh! Okay then.. guess it would be fine leaving it a week or a bit more longer than what was on the bag....
That was all I could afford at the time, maybe next time around if I'm lucky I can get a HPS or something similar.

..And it should grow quite a bit more right? ...would raising the cfls help it "stretch" a bit higher? or would that be a bad idea?

When harvesting what part do I cut?
And do I also trip OFF the pistils that are sticking out?

Hey guys, been a while since I posted on daaa logggg
According to the package I should be harvesting in 2 days...
What I have learned from here :thumbsup: ... I'll give it another 4 or 5 days or so.
I watered the girl around 2 days ago and was thinking about flushing now, since I am "technically" using nutes (in soil) BUT soil isn't exactly dry....
-Water wise ...silly question considering how far along I am buttt I thought I would ask just for the assurance.

Can I use the water from my shower/bathtub? And room temperature water? or cold or warm? I have been using filtered water from my fridge - but it pours out cold and I normally leave it in a bucket in my room(that's closed..the bucket :P) There is no way I can get that much water (to flush with) from the fridge filter tap. Or someone have another suggestion?

I'm almost at the end of the road!
After this I will probably do a lot more reading/reflecting and UPGRADING :thumbsup: LOL
And possibly another more independent/organized g-log

I keep mine on 24-7. And its not going to raise your bill that much at all. I would keep it on low all the time. Leave it on low all the time:hippy:

The leaves are looking a bit more crystally though
How much bigger do you think it will get height wise? (I'm just curious)
And does bud grow at every place there are pistils?
