1.I transplanted - In Miracle Grow Soil(3-mnth auto release) and had to add a little bit of scotts (6-month auto release) soil because I was short
2.I also watered - about 2 and 1/2 Liters of water and then I ran out of the good water I am using LOL..too many shortages but I'll water some more tomorrow or I will wait until this watering dry's and then go and water again.
    3. Also made a reflector hood (Got some cardboard and did TWO Coats of Flat White Ceiling Paint)
I really hope you re potted while your lights were on? Also do not give water till your plant is dry. Period. Or you will activate the ferts in that soil and burn the shit out of your plant. Only give water and less is more!

Man get those trays from under your plants and dont use them at all. You want your water to flow through the plant and out the hole in the bottom of the pot. If you continue to keep the trays under your pots, your plant will pull up water from it. At the same time you are sticking your finger down into the soil, you will think it need water, in less your finger is 12'' long. So you over water and over fert at the same time, not to mention that roots that are in water all the time get no air. Plus its a good way to get root rot.

No water today. I would wait till you pick up the pot and feel how heavy it is after you water. Then in 4 days pick up the pot, feel how heavy it is. Plants like to dry out at times, but your keeping your soil wet, could be the reason your plant is not growing like you think it should be. ex. Last year i was getting my seeds popped and ready for my outdoor go round. Well i didn't add perlite so when i transplanted them to bigger pots, i found they had their roots in mucky wet soil that would had killed them if i had not caught them in time. Lose the trays from under your pots man. If i can find the pic of what they looked like before i fixed them, il post it.

And reason i wrote so much is because thats what was needed. Found paint in the garage and a bigger pot, cool. Plus the hood you made looks ok, but if ya can, try and move it closer to the lights so it will reflect the light. And surround your plant with the painted card board to give more to your plant.

What did your roots look like, did they smell bad?

Il be back in a bit:rasta:

This reflector is made from a power-strip, a piece of metal ducting, and some hardware.
Total price was just under ten bucks. [SIZE="1"](That price does not include the bulbs or y-splitters.)

    Killer light tiki:thumbsup:

Poker if you look at the first pic of tiki's lights you can see it reflecting light. You need to move your hood closer so it will reflect light like tiki's does:hippy:

And the cardboard i was talking about is to surround your plant. Painted flat white will reflect light to your plant. The more you keep your grow area tight, the more the light will reflect back to your plant and the mo light, the mo better:thumbsup:

    @LSY
    Thanks for the reply.

I'll get some more cardboard soon an put it around 3 sides of the plants (side where air comes from i'll leave open.)
I'm just afraid that the card board can catch on fire from the CFL's... CAN IT? if not then i'll glady move the "reflector" down some more. (I will maybe be changing the setup soon) If not then at least I'll try to make myself something similar to what Tiki has - looks awesome.

I found a pic online - THIS IS NOT MY ACTUAL PLANT!! but my roots looked similar to this. NOT white but similar the the rest of the roots you see in the pic below... Once again that is NOT an actual pic of my plant!
And nothing seemed to smell "bad"... the smell was fine if any was really there. I don't really notice much of a smell other than what the girl actually smells like
What should I put under my plant then if I take out that tray? I can't really leave it on the bare hardwood because the run-off water might ruin it. Any ideas for what type of thing I should put under the pot?...a towel?

And I will not water it for a while until it seems dry to me.

Good it doesnt smell or the bottom roots could have been rotted. I use under pads or puppy pads, you might potty train a dog with. But news paper or anything that will not keep run off water in it. Maybe put rocks in those trays to raise the plant above the bottom of the tray. And dont water with them under your plant, even if you gotta water it in your sink and let sit awhile or till there is no run off from under the plant. Then put on top of the rocks so it will not pull water from the tray.

And yeah you can lower your reflector. You should also find a fan to blow air around in your grow area, it will help cool the lights as well give nice fresh air to your plants. Your cardboard will meet on each side of the fan to enclose the area:hippy:

    Cool man:thumbsup:

Just put the fan inside your space then, it will help steady your plant up with the fan acting as natural wind. Your plant should luv it:thumbsup:

I keep mine on 24-7. And its not going to raise your bill that much at all. I would keep it on low all the time. Leave it on low all the time:hippy:
