Hey
You could be able to grow something in this. You will need lights from the top because if you put fluos on the sides...welll...it will be reduced to 12/12...no much room in a foot square. The beter (what i recommand) is an HPS (thie first time i recommand this lamp after 3 years) maybe 150 to 250 watts, on the top of the plant and it should be great. Just cover the walls of the box with mylar (theremal blankets the emergency blankets) or aluminium foil. And VoilĂ*! this should be ok.
P.S: the pic is a sylviana lamp that i bought several weeks ago and it works well for me. Its a 20 watt lamp and produces 875 lumens with is good. You alredy have a reflector, you just need a bulb socet and your good to go.
See ya have fun

Hey
Indeed it will grow bigger when you flower it....but this is what you want...but is you grow for yourself (like me) i think that you can figure out what is the best for you.
