It sucks, but we need to go 1 step at a time. It won't get legal for general use until the Gov't actually funds some research on the values of MJ. I understand wanting to get it legal across the board, but we need to first get it to those that need it medicinally. Only after this will the benefits for general use get any type of attention.
Yes, people that don't really need it do get their authorization. The most common reason is chronic pain (more specifically low back pain). It's hard for a Dr to do a complete review of someone's medical hx in the few mins they see the new PT. If I recall correctly, any Dr or hosp HAS to take to heart what you are telling them or complaining about as a new PT.

Have people sign a form and get about 10,000 people to sign,this can be done at flea markets,trade shows and the internet,send the signed papers to congress senate etc..
You know everyone here would sign it,use facebook,myspace,tweeter,youtube,yahoo and sites like google to have people 'pass' it around and sign,I been doing this for this form.

I found this for my state and passed it around.
This is to try and get it legalized for medical use,,I know you want it %100 legal,,so do I,,it should be done in small steps,there will more of a protest from people who dont want to make it legal than the ones who do,if its open legal for all,,they will march protest stand on the steps of the white house,get on t.v etc...

Even if their is more people who support it,the protesters who dont WILL win,,its because we are potheads,we will be like screw marching,,i just burned one,,or afraid to loose their jobs due to being seen by their boss,church,friends employees,customers (if they own a company) they feel it would hurt them than do more good.

If it slowly moves in,,through medical use,,then it will be more accepted,,if Preacher Bob needs it for his eyes,,its ok,,his church will accept it,little old Aunt Sue needs it for cancer,,its ok,,family will accept it,once its widely accepted and the FDA finds no known health risks then it will be regulated like beer or cigarettes.

Its sortta like bad feet,,yea they smell bad,,but around it enough you get use to it.


I think the biggest problem for getting it legal is many politicians are scared of loosing votes due to people who oppose it..
I call and send e-mails to all politicians asking them to legalize it,(not just for medical use) have done so for years,and question the ones who dont and let them know I will Not vote someone who isnt open minded.

This is a great time to push politicians towards legalizing it and many people dont realize it.

The economy is very bad,we need a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end of it,and this is it,politicians know this they just need support from taxpayers,California has made almost 13 billion a year,,according to a report from CNNNEWS.COM on medical marijuana alone...(it may have been a misprint,cause thats a hell of alot of money)

It can help with 5 known types of cancer,eating disorders,be taken as a replacement for a nerve pill,sleep aid,panic attacks,headaches,body aches,muscle spasms,nerve damage,with no known type of side effects!!--so in one sense EVERYBODY has these problems,,that means that nearly every one can get on medical marijuana if you see a doctor..(i say this because everybody I know can get on nerve pills)

If politicians see how other states are gaining money then they will push for it for their state,because they want their fat greedy fists in that cookie jar themselves,,all they need is support,,alot of support from the tax payers and voters..let them cram their fist in that jar until their fat azz chokes,as long as it gets legal.

Find out which politicians support it and support them,,I been voting politicians in office mostly based on if they support it or not,,yea,,bad voting on my part,but in the past 10 years or so. I have noticed a change and see its slowly working..I contact friends and family and request them to support them and ask them to get their friends to support them.

It wont happen over night,but so far its slowly getting more and more accepted,in Denver a few yrs ago,they past a law stating you can have up to a ounce and be ok.not sure if that law is still in effect,a politician named Charley Brown (yes his azz is named after a blockhead) said he wasnt having hippie vans pull up in his state he would fight it.so I sent him a nice letter.

You would think that since Clinton, W and Obama all smoked it would be socially acceptable by now. For the most part it is. The problem is not so much the drug cartels or social stigma ut rather the businesses that would lose business if marijuana was legal. The drug companies have the most to lose and are paying their lobbyists to pay off the politicians to make sure it stays illegal. Right in line behind them is the Alcohol producers lobbyists. Any other business with anything to lose if it is legalized is forking over bags of money to the politicians too.

We need to weed out the beurocrats (sp?) at the federal level who keep taking the payoffs. The states need to legalize with clear language that does not limit quantities. It needs to be truly legal not barely legal like the CA law that voters rejected. A 5 x 5 plot is not large enough to grow enough weed for a year. You should be able to posess enough weed to last from harvest to harvest. I can buy all the alcohol I can afford and can store as much as I want. The same should be true for weed.

Alright, I like marijuana as much as the next guy, and the guy after him, and so on.. but I think this is quite bullshit. forgive me if i'm wrong but this is how im seeing it.

Because you aren't fully healthy, you have a disability, etc the government says you are allowed to smoke the illegal product 'marijuana'. so what does marijuana do thats so dangerous to healthy people... if it helps illness then why cant healthy people use it, it has NO bad reprocutions and even if it did i GAURANTEE that a sick person would get affected badly from marijuana before a healthy person ever would..

i think the government is fuckin pathetic with its attempts to keep marijuana illegal for everyone exccept the ill its not right.. its stupid as fuck and should be stopped.. if a sick person is able to smoke a joint and be perfectly fine what is so bad about a healthy person smoking?

i can goto a bar and order 15 beers, be drunk out of my face and drive home, cause a 150 car pile up and die.

i can goto any store, buy a pack of cigerrettes, sit in my car with the windows up and smoke the whole pack and die of cancer.

i can goto the neibourhood dealer and buy some weed, doesnt matter if its $5 worth or $500 worth, you cant overdose, you cant die from it, and it doesnt intoxicate you nearly as much as alcohol.

and when was the last time someone smoked a joint and started going crazy and shooting everyone.. NEVER. but this sort of thing happens all the time with alcohol and even ciggeretes, because their highly addictive and people go crazy when they cant find them.

with marijuana you get high, you relax, you make friends, never even think of causing problems, its such a peaceful drug.. wow i hate saying that word because i dont believe marijuana is even a drug, its just a plant like any other plants... honestly i can smoke weed all day and still get behind the wheel of a vehichle, work my job, goto school or whatever i have to do in a day, with alcohol your intoxicated basicly all day..

yo i hear ya bro. WHat you have to understand in the CIA is the biggest drug dealer in the wolrd. Whey not only distribute drugs to usa but to everywhere on the planet. they do this for "BLACK PROJECT" CASH it brings in 100's of billions. Don't be fooled on y its still is kept illegal.
