I have made so many mistakes in the past with strains. Not knowing what they needed or how much they'd grow up to my lights.

You are learning a lesson way earlier then I had. Count that as a plus.

    They're going very good
I made a simple edit on photo to give you an idea how to bend down.
Blue line is where it has to be bended (Same level to top of side branches, maybe a little lower because main cola grows bigger).
Red line is how to tie down. You can choose any direction, I just did it to show.

For the small fella, still early to tell but looks like Sativa to me. Later will show own characteristics clearly. Can be a cross as well.

Plants are looking really nice, BWD. How many females did you wind up with?

I think that plant could be Sativa, too. Time will tell!

You're right brother. Wool sounds better. I don't remember any wool cut on my fingers but I sure do many about the fishing line. So, imagine what it can do to a plant...
With wool, plant feels some animals around and produce more resin maybe
