How about this? Take one lady and cut away. Leave the others alone. Wait and see after the grow which one produced more. But do NOT cut more than a 1/3 of the fan leaves off unless you want to really push the pedal to the metal.

Then you can report back your findings and give a little more education to an educated group of grow of folks.
