Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies
Hello Friends,
I want to put in a plug for an organization of which I am a member. MAPS is providing the groundwork and necessary scientific research our community depends upon for legitimacy and exploration of new methods to use the beautiful cannabis plant...along with plenty of other sacred plant medicines.
Check out these FREE VIDEOS while medicating this week, and MAPS will get $1 for every view. Not only are you helping them out, but you can learn about mind-blowing research taking place in this country.
In fact, MAPS has been at ground zero in the legal struggle to end the US government monopoly on the cannabis allowed for scientific research. That is a very interesting history, and taking place right in Amherst Massachusetts.
Enjoy and keep those minds expanding!

Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies
I have been a big fan of MAPS for years. My only problem with them is up to this point they tend to be elitists as it relates to whom and under what circumstances individuals should be allowed to ingest many of these substances.
Additionally their scope as to what they consider to be useful "psychedelic" medications and their apparent ignorance of the overall counter-productive nature of prohibitionist policies as it relates to those substances which they do not consider to be important "psychedelically" to be quite troubling.
