    Introducing myself

Hello all. I am new to the group here. I am 64 years old veteran, live here in albuquerque, and am a potential MM patient. I have a question. Because I am a veteran, my doctors will not recommend MM therapy. I am wondering how other vets proceed, besides getting a copy of my medical records. I don't mean to sound dense, but once I have my medical records, how do I determine where to go to see a doctor who is ok with MM therapy? My applicable problems are chronic pain (pun intended...), spinal cord damage, and psoriatic arthiritis. My wife and I are living on our social security, which is almost enough to live on, so there is very little money to spare. I would appreciate anyones help. Thanks in advance.

First welcome RedOak if you are applying for chronic pain you are going to need 2 dr.s recommendations one from a primary and a second from a specialist here is a link to DOH look over the list of qualifying conditions and maybe you can find one that you will not need 2 recs. because of your age it will be easier to get approved I think. Medical Cannabis Program - Infectious Disease Bureau most drs in the area of 150 for your visit if you need help in finding one let me know and I will see if I can help with that.

Thank you BackWoodDrifter and alfonso2002...I appreciate any help.
As a somewhat older person, my knowledge of computers and listserves is pretty much nil...I usually only use this thing for email and computer games
Hopefully I will have most of my records from the Albuquerque Veterans hospital soon and be able to proceed. Now all I need to do is scrape up the funds to be able to pay for the doctors visits...lol.:wtf: Anyways, thanks again.
