How to increase bud size for White Widow and Kona Gold
Apologies for re-posting but I think I put this in the wrong forum earlier today.
This is my first grow in winter and in the new room and find the temperature is running about 10 degrees cooler than I want (about 62 degrees).
What should I change if I want to increase the bud sizes of my plants? Should I add another 600W HPS, add a heater to warm the room up more, or lollipop the plants, or something else?
I am using general hydroponics nutrients in an ebb & flow hydro setup.
Any feedback is appreciated. I can say that the medicine I get is tasty and provides a great high. So maybe I should except the size of the yield as is.greenmedicinetc Reviewed by greenmedicinetc on . How to increase bud size for White Widow and Kona Gold
I really don't know too much about hydro setups, so I won't pretend to know. However, I'm sure bud size and potency is the same in hydro as soil, so from the start of the grow to the final harvesting all effects it. My recommendation is to fill out the hydro troubleshooting form and if the hydro guys on this forum see something that they might change to give you better results they'll probably say something. You might also start a grow log and post that. I've gotten and seen lots of help coming from people on the outside looking in.:thumbsup:

cool tube set-up in veggie room
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply?
Yes
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan?
Yes. Both

Veggie - 24hr/day 400W MH

5 gallon bottled water. It's PH is 7 but I adjust to 6 after adding my nutrients
11) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...)
ph pen
12) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...)
PH Up/Down
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule.

I did go get a ceramic space heater and the room temp is now above 70 degrees. I expect this will help. We'll see how the next crop goes.
