Is it safe to cut off fan leaves during flushing?
well, the question I'd like answered is the title of the thread: Is it safe to cut off fan leaves during flushing? The reason I'm interested is because this would increase light flow to the lower buds. The only reason I'm thinking about this is because I read a thread by Zandor in which he says in passing: "You can cut the plant at the bottom, trim off all the fan leaves (thatâ??s if you have not already done so the last week before harvest to increase light and air flow)." But I haven't been able to find another word about this anywhere on the net, so I was wondering if anyone out there does this. Thanks.
