Stunted growth, red stem... help!!Hello, I'm a first time grower. I have planted an AC Diesel seed in a deep water cult system. I'm running a 150 watt HPS on it 24/7. The plant is about 2 and a half weeks old and isn't growing. The stem is reddish/purple and the fist set of leaves are deformed. My PH is 5.6 and ppm are 165. Also, the roots seem to be slow at growth too. I've put a lot of money in this (for a college student) and don't want to lose it. ANY ADVISE:rastasmoke: ganjacapone Reviewed by ganjacapone on . Stunted growth, red stem... help!!your problem is your pH is too low get a pH kit, get everything readjusted to around 6.2-6.5 and you'll start to see more grow and less deformed leaves:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Stunted growth, red stem... help!!Sorry, disregard my last post, I saw College and assumed soil and didn't even see this was in DWC. PH is fine where it's at. Have the roots made it out of the rockwool cube you started it in? If not, it looks really wet and could be an overwatering problem. It's really easy to overwater in those cubes(I've killed 2 sets of germinating seeds in those damn Grodan cubes.):thumbsup:
