HEEEELP!!! Creatures (mouse maybe) living in my soil. Hi-res Pics
I used different potting soil mixes for this baby and I found shit looking things on top of the soil my baby. There are many of them. There are also small white bugs on and in soil. But i don't think they can shit that big. Also there are some fungus gnats flying around.
Who are they shitting? Are they harmful? Is that a mouse living in my babies soil??? HELP NEED ASAP
Here are the pictures. I marked white bugs. Help appreciated

People who know me can see this type of tittle and post is not my style. Before, I tried to make it serious here:http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-gro...e-flowers.html and here:http://boards.cannabis.com/advanced-...e-pollens.html but they didn't get any attention. As I'm following the forum I saw "noob" tittles and posts are getting more reply and discussion. So give try I said. Maybe I should try for hermies like "Heeeelllllppp. Are these balls or boobs. Pics incl."tevfik Reviewed by tevfik on . HEEEELP!!! Creatures (mouse maybe) living in my soil. Start with a mousetrap....I don't know what the heck you got there, but if those are mouse turds, he's full of shit!!! I'd get some kind of no pest strip in there asap for the flying things. If it's a mouse you should catch him...I get mice in my grow room every now and then...they seem to like to dig in the soil. I just set a trap baited with peanut butter and kill them. Good luck, Tevfic!

I don't think that is a mouse. They don't crap like that. They walk and crap walk and crap so you will often see a trail of shit along the path taken by the mouse. A mouse that has made a home indoors will not not live in the soil (too much work when there are plenty of cozy places to live once inside) though they may dig up the roots to eat them. If you suspect a mouse look along the edges of the room where the wall meets the floor. Mice will run along the edges of a room looking for places to hide. You will find turds there. I do battle with the bastards every year once the weather turns cold. I won early this year!
It sure is odd looking. I'll give you that. Any chance you could have worms in the soil? That almost looks like worm castings.

Looks more like a fly lava to me, all could be OK but you need to watch the plants very carefully over the next weeks to see
A. if the they start to droop then the lava may be attacking the roots
B. the leaves start to get eaten.
The option is yours, leave it a while and see what happens, keep a fan on the plants as much as possible to stop more pests making your crop their new home.
If the worst happens, you will have to repot and clean out your growing area which I would do as soon as you get chance anyway. It´s a pain in the arse doing this but better than loosing your bud.

probably fungi fly larva, basically gnat looking things. they are harmless to you and the plants. they feed on the bits of wood in the soil. easy to get rid of, put a slice of potato in there and it will attract the larvas and then throw it away in a few days and probably for any other insect larva. worked for me

definitely not mice, i've raised enough in my day to know what those droppings look like... those shitty things look almost like worm castings.. have no idea what they are though, check the area at night with a blacklight, maybe you'll catch the perpetrator... the little white things look like larvae - fly or gnat larvae..
the poo is good for the plants, so as long as whatever is making it is benign, you're good!

I was suspicious about worm castings, newer saw before.
I have other plants which are in bigger pots and using much more soil rich in worm castings but none of them had these. Only once I saw one warm on soil surface, thats all. This one mixed soil all together and maybe just a little with worm castings soil. Have different size of those things, this mean there is not only one but more. I was also feeding only this plant with chemical fertilizers. I thought worms live in organic no?
Mouse was a joke, no way for a mouse to get around them
