Iā??ve been making edibles now for a couple of years. I now use extra-virgin olive oil rather than butter. Itā??s not supposed to go rancid as fast. After I cook the Cannabutter I put it in 8 ounces jars. Then when Iā??m going to cook a batch of brownies or whatever I use 8 ounces, 1 cup per batch. I didnā??t think at 1st but I just washed out the crockpot, jar, bowel, whisk etc. then I thought Iā??m wasting some butter, the most potent part of the batch, the oil. The last Cannabutter I made in a crock pot, when I thought it was empty I wiped the bowel with my fingers & they came out oily so I fingered the plot until there was no more oil on my fingers. That ended up being like a triple does and I was useless the rest of the evening, so be careful. Be careful but at the same time. Donā??t let that oil go to waste so lick that spoon, LOL.
