I get the migrains that effect my eyes called aura's. They are awful. I get the pounding headache after the eye thing goes away and I am drained the rest of the day. Cannabis never helped me. As a matter of fact your blood vessels constrict in the temple of your head due to migrains and cannabis can make that worse. Thats why you hear people say..."oh what a head rush "...when you get up when high.Its because smoking does that too so why would it be good for you in a situation like this. I have had migrains for 20 years and had many types of cannabis from the islands south of the US to the Va mountains to the west coastal mountains. So I have had my share of different types and I personally dont feel it makes a difference. What helps me is knowing what triggers the migrain and it can be from red wine to cheese to chocolate. And when I fell mine starting to happen I take 2 to 3 ( depends on how big you are) of Ibuprofen and put a cold rag on my head and it goes away in about 30 minutes.
