It's easier, if you grow the same strain all the time. I've been growing the same strain puppies since '05....along side something new...for comparsion.

I don't even think about looking at the trichomes, until week 9 or 10.
Dutch Pimp Reviewed by Dutch Pimp on . Bud is near harvest, but.... This is my 3rd plant and this time I used some random purp seed. It is about 2 months into flowering and is looking great. I just flushed it last week and gave it a bit more molasses, but straight water from here on out. My question is: I see new growth coming directly out of the buds on all four sides, like new pistols. Is this normal? Would it be swollen calyxes? I am watching with a microscope, but should I be letting this new growth develop and begin to change color before I harvest? Rating: 5
