I use 2 oz of good trim that have about 25% of the tiny buds that I don't bother to trim for every pound of butter. I recently made a 7 lb batch of butter and used over 1 lb of trim and buds. I cooked the butter for about 23 hours on very low heat. Then I strain it with cheese cloth then a potato ricer. Adding water is probably a good idea when starting the process but after the butter is cooled toss the water.

I usually try to make about 60 of any item with 1 cup of butter. If you normally get 20 cookies or whatever then triple the recipe and use regular butter to get the dosage correct. If I make snickerdoodles the 1 cup of canna butter will make just over 60 1 TBSP size cookies. So you will get the dosage you desire.

People who eat my edibles say they are at least 8X or 12X of the strength of edibles in the clubs.

I can eat two cookies but if I get carried away and eat 4 or 5 cookies I get so high that I cannot sleep and feel uncomfortable because I do want to sleep but can't.
