42 Anniversary
As I'm beginning to plan my assault on Mt. Suribachi,
, and looking at documents, today is the 42 anniversary of my first marijuana bust. Since I'm unable to reproduce the document here, I will put part in:
Charge I: Viol Art 134, UCMJ; In that LCpl XXXX did, at Mess Hall 23XX, located at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, on or about 0730 hours, 22 January 1969, wrongfully have in his possession 0.05 grams, more or less of marijuana.
I've been shotgun married to this fucking sham for too many years. No wonder I've been acting goofy as the screw has been turning lately. I had actually forgot the date, and it wasn't from smoking marijuana. It's been like trying to forget one big fucking nightmare. :wtf:
So, I'm coming to get redress. I'll settle for nothing less. I have more proof of officers participating a cover-up of the Kangaroo Court-Martial proceedings. And, if an officer and gentleman would lie about a little marijuana, what else would he lie about? Especially to a congressional inquiry.
My attack will be a two pronged, pincer movement, catching the enemy with their pants down. They will have no other option but to surrender unconditionally. I'll throw the book at the using their own weapon, the UCMJ. They can't and won't be able but to handle the truth as I rip off their heads and shit down their necks!!! Semper Fi
I had to go wash my hands.
Sentence: to be reduced to pay grade E-1, to be confined at hard labor for three (3) months and be forfeit $73.00 pay per month for three (3) months. (the sentence was adjudged on 27 March 1969) (No previous convictions were considered).
So, I'm a bitter old man? No, like I said, its been the bitter taste of bullshit in my mouth all these years. And the knee that resulted during the confinement. :stoned:gypski Reviewed by gypski on . 42 Anniversary As I'm beginning to plan my assault on Mt. Normally, if I see something about an anniversary I'll give congrats, but not in this case.
Let it go if you can. Four decades is far too long to carry this type of straw on your camels back.:weedpoke:

Not until the record is set straight. I can't. Every step I take reminds me, even if its only hidden in those place we store the memories.

In case you may have misunderstood, my degenerative arthritis and state of my knee is a direct result from my days of confinement. During that time, I dislocated my knee, was give an ace bandage and a pair of crutches. No operation to repair or fix anything. and the result is what I walk on today. Can't forget the knee, the rest is long gone. Although the foul taste remains. :upsidedow

But it is poisoning your soul ... the hate, the revenge, etc. Sometimes we need to try to forgive for our own sanity and well being.

Just consider it. Although, do what you believe is the right thing and I wish you all the best and will always stand by you no matter what decision you make.

How nice it would have been if this veteran had the care you speak of ... we don't take enough care of the men and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom.

I tried to get it operated on at the Air Force Hospital at Kadena. But the Air Force surgeon told me if they operated, I'd have arthritis, and kind of talked me out of it. Said wait until I got out, yada, yada, yada. Got several pages of records. A Navy surgeon at Hansen for a couple of days said, he'd do it, but, he was leaving the next day. :what:

I testified for my friend, and his charges were dropped. It came back and bit me on the ass. Example and all that shit. My record states that I was an above average Marine before, but I turned into a gold brick real quick, especially after they denied my request for transfer to Nam to prove my mettle and reclaim my honor and dignity. They essentially made me into something that I wasn't, and I let them by saying fuck you to them.
The system was abused to set some bullshit example that never had any effect as nearly all my platoon were heads, and no one was ever busted again. They tried, but couldn't. But some did go to the brig too for petty offenses. It was the only way they could get back at us.
