Dude, i am in the exact same position as you (except for the idiot part on Do-it-yourself) lol no offense. The box you are talking about cost 239.00 or so my setup cost me that much factoring in soil, lights, box and all the other nicks and knacks you need.

Now don't expect a 3lb yeild from your auto flowerer's, but you can get some nice buds to smoke for yourself or with your friends and you may be even to sell it in grams and make a little money back.

First i went to a local store (Walmart, Target, lowe's etc) and picked up a Sterlite Garage Storage unit. (I'll post the dimensions when i find the box) but that cost me about 60 USD.

Next i went to Lowe's and picked up two 2ft Fluro bulbs and a Ballast (like i said ill find the specs when i visit my growhouse next)...you can also get your soil, pots, some nutrients, a timer, ventilation tubes, and some fans. This all probably cost me about 100USD maybe a little less. (i didn't save the reciepts)

After i collected all my materials all you have to do is read the instruction manual on how to set up the Sterilte Shelving (its really simple.....i was FRIED! when i put it together and she's still standing.)

I can post pictures if you want to show you how its set up but all in all it cost me about 215USD and will fit in almost any 5ft closet. ( The box of course is optional, i just use it cause its easy to lock and can hold all your growing related items so there is no suspicion)
