Tap water is usually north of 7pH so that is most likely the problem. You need a way to lower the pH and monitor it.

Plant: 5 weeks into veg (approx.). Height is approx 4.5-5inches tall. Problem: Some of the older leafs are crispy feeling? What could be the cause? Is the run-off water being yellow related?(or is that also another problem or nothing to worry about?) Rating: 5
