flowering to veg

Ok so this is my first grow and ive just reached my first harvest but i wanna clone one of my plants so I left a few sprouts on the bottom. My question is whether i can take my plant, thats already in flowering, and switch it to veg so i can take clones of it? would it help to feed it more nitrogen? or should i just go ahead and do the clones now?

Veg to get the clones......next time take the clones before the flower phase
