Leaves Curling Laterally to the Mid-line Vein on each leaflette

I have noticed a few leaves on some plants where the leaves are curling under, lateral to the mid-line vein in each leaflette. They are not curling under at the tip as would happen in an over fertilization problem. They are cupping under as the edges of each leaflette fold downward. I have seen this on other rare occations and it hasn't been a problem, but I am concerned. I am growing in soil, pH 6.5-6.8, and it is only ammended with bone meal and dolomite lime (in very low concentration). The humidity has been low 25-40% and I have an occilating fan on them. The soil moisture content is normal. I am concerned that the leaves may be becoming dehydrated with increased respiration due to low humidity and an inability to absorb the soil moisture fast enough to compensate and reach homeostasis. Anybody familiar with this condition?

are they dry and brittle or limp and green. limp and green is a watering issue from my experience. you failed to mention temps. low temps will slow moisture intake from the soil, thus creating whiskey dick on the leaves. dry and brittle might be low humidity and/or wind blown. if your temps are low raise it or kill the fan. also might be lockout but thats just a guess. youll get a wider range of input in the sick plant section, though. i believe ive seen you there. good on mate:stoned:
