What would you do? Photos and Poll
Well I'm stuck with a dilemma.
I have a 4.5x4.5 space tented with Black/White poly.
It is illuminated by a 600w HPS overhead, and 2 T5 panels on one side wall, and ringed by clamp lamps holding dual CFL's, underlit by T12 strips. Well lit canopy with some light hitting every area of the plant
My plants are rotated 90 degrees once a day, and rotated into a new position in a 3x3 grid (I have 9 plants)
Vented by a box fan hanging from bungie cords inside the tented area, and a box fan on the outside blowing on the entrance. The plants are well fanned and ventilated, they have hugely thick stalks (bigger than my thumb).
I am in week 5 of flower (I go 10-12 weeks from the flip date with most all my plants) and I believe that I am out of space (again) I know it happens to alot of people.
This is the second time with this batch that I have expanded my grow area and I am at the max that my light will reach, and no more space to expand my tenting. Each time I have expanded my space my plants have grown into it and they are very bushy ladies with many, many DARK GREEN (lots of nitrogen, I know, I've already cut it out of my nute routine))
I need some advice on if I should do some trimming. Some of the fan leaves coming off the main stalk, and some side stems are blocking some bud sites.
My plants have had a few "issues" (small spider mite infestation, lack of N in diet due to very old nutes that resulted in very, very weak undergrowth ) nothing too big and they are all looking very healthy now.
All the main colas are 9" or length or longer, and are starting to fill in rather well. but everything below that is shaded by the colas, and main stem fan leaves.

Sunday! Time for an UPDATE!!!!
Thanks for all the many and superb replies! It has been a trying week. I have watered my plants and a few days have past. It is time to water+ nutes now.
Just recently I added in some more lighting. I brought out my CFL hood I built on my first grow that holds @600w (actual wattage) of cfl (about 42k of lumens at 1 foot and @ 75k of lumens at less than 6 inches.)
see pic#1
The light hood is built out of PVC and can hold 12-23 cfls depending on configuration. Currently holding 21 cfl's. mixed 42w, 68w, and some smaller 26w cfl's.
I hung it up next to my 600w HPS so I have 2 600w lights up above my 9 plants in this4.5X4.5 tent. ringed by another 300w of cfls, and lined on the sides by T5 panels. Underneath on top of the containers are 2 T12 strips to light the under carriage.
I come up with about @2000w of total light usage spread all around the plants.
I really want to avoid Trimming any leaves off my babies unless I have too so I have added all this light to enable full penetration of as much light as possible.
Look at the pics. what do you think about this newest addition. Is it wise, and do you think the plants will respond positively? and I will need to trim?

first, I would stop giving any nutes with N right away.
Second, can you bend the tops sideways?

As for bending the top. I don't think so. The plant stalk and branches are all very thick and sturdy. I have 2 box fans blowing on them since birth and they are all extremely strong.
Bending the tops now? Will that do anything now that I am in week 6? do you think it will really increase the yield foe me any?
*****UPDATE*****
When I was doing lights off I noticed a nanner in one of my plants buds.
I gt to looking and 3 of my ladies had hermie bananas in several of the buds. Turns out that all3 of the "chronic" Strains have turned hermie on me.
I moved the 3 ladies in question immediately to the garage and set up a grow space for them to finish out. I pulled all the banana that I could find and am thinking of letting them run for the last couple weeks and get as much from them as I can.
What would you do with 3 of 9 plants in week that went hermie?
