That's essentially how it works, although you can designate a caregiver/dispensary and grow for yourself now. They'll usually offer you perks like reduced prices and free meds in exchange.

I do not feel comfortable discussing marijuana as a treatment option with my general practitioner/family doctor and would like a different option. I live in Parker, so I am assuming Denver would be my best bet for doctors and dispensaries. If anyone could give me a recommendation (either by pm or email) it would be greatly appreciated.
