Do you know what the word 'profit' means? It is what is left AFTER ALL THE BILLS ARE PAID. Do you know what is needed to run a business? Have you ever run a business and dealt with rent, taxes, insurance, taxes, payroll, taxes, the cost of products, taxes, utilities, taxes, permits and licenses, and taxes? Do you think that if I buy a widget for $10 a gram, I should sell it to you for $10 a gram because I am nonprofit? >>>>>>

Regardless, you're still probably in violation of both state and federal laws. The nature of Prop. 215 was to allow for a person to grow their own medications with a Dr. recommendation, in the event that person is unable to do so they were legally able to allow another person(caregiver) to provide the medications which again the nature of the law was for the caregiver to grow the med's for the patient. What you are doing is neither being a care giver nor being a co-op(as a co-op would be defined), the law requires you to have the facility to produce the med's you are trying to provide for patients. If you're selling pot from a store and buying it from varioius growers you're note even close to operating within the paramaters of 215.

The clubs will eventually be shut down, it's only a matter of time before the state steps in and starts to actually enforce the law as it's written. Clubs popped up in Nevada and the state stepped right in and shut them down and they have a similar law to CA.
