Start by cutting the recommended doses in half. That's where I am at, and the plants love it.
sorry i looked at the chart and I still don't understand why the EC levels should be lower just because I add a week or two to flowering. the additive concentrations remain the same, as do the base nutrient levels, all that changes is i add more weeks. i'm adding a proportionate amount MORE every week, and yet the EC levels of the chart indicate they're lower. I'm very confused
macnasty Reviewed by macnasty on . Advanced Nutrients Feed Calculator Why is it that when using the feeding calculator, upon entering different number of weeks (eg. 7, 8, 9) with each additional week added the EC or PPM levels drop, BUT the calculator still tells me to use the exact same quantities of nutrient solution!? For example, for a 7 week plan the calculator says use 78 ml of each of Grow, Micro, Bloom and have an EC level of 1.7 at peak flowering. But when I change that to a 9 week schedule it still says use 78 ml of each of Grow, Micro, Bloom but keep Rating: 5
