the AN nutrient calculator sucks, and it can be confusing, but what we all say especialy with AN is use half streeanth and if checking with ec, it is going to be off, so start just buy half streanth ec reddings will not help you at first when they are well into 3 weeks then you can try the AN calculator and use the ec metter, but realy if you dont have all the addatives, then you cant correct ec , so realy ec is advnced and only used in hydro. with that said i know alot of advanced growers that dont use ec they only use half streanth and start to use addadtives about the 2nd week in, unless growing in coc then calmag is always used. ec is for the extreamly advanced, more for checking and not messuring. but everyone does things a little differant good luck
MadSativa Reviewed by MadSativa on . Advanced Nutrients Feed Calculator Why is it that when using the feeding calculator, upon entering different number of weeks (eg. 7, 8, 9) with each additional week added the EC or PPM levels drop, BUT the calculator still tells me to use the exact same quantities of nutrient solution!? For example, for a 7 week plan the calculator says use 78 ml of each of Grow, Micro, Bloom and have an EC level of 1.7 at peak flowering. But when I change that to a 9 week schedule it still says use 78 ml of each of Grow, Micro, Bloom but keep Rating: 5
