Check out the Hydrofarm Phantom 1000 hps/mh ballast and one that another member has purchased,lumatek 1000 switchable ballast. These are two of the best out there to me! Good luck with everythang!:thumbsup:

Thanks, I've been throwing my money at HTG and have been less than happy lately.. I've had multiple 600w and 1000w ballasts and HPS / MH bulbs fail.

The warranty and price is nice, but not if my babies go without light for 5-6 days. They live fine, but I don't like telling my children foods gonna be tight for a week you know.
