    Workin on my Green Thumb

Alright so i will check my grow setup and get the wattage and nutrients and all that fun stuff and will post it asap cause i know i won't get very precise answers without the specs.

A few days ago i recently saw some flies in my box. I am not to sure if they are fruitflies or nats or what but the sit right around my Fluro lights and i just want a safe effective way to kill em all without harming my ladies.

    Any ideas?

hard to say without more info on the fly. Most hydro stores and hardware stores carry a no-pest yellow paper. You can try using that if the flies are temporary. If the flies figure out how to next in your soil, then you will need to treat the soil with neem oil which is non toxic and sold in the same stores including wal-mart.

I'll give the sand idea a try. The little flies do come out of the cracks in the soil.

Yes ifin yu go to yur local hardware store they be carrin a product call sterilized play sand and it be the best thin I ever be usin in my grows and ifin yu be doin it right yual be able to use it over and over if yu carefull. Put about 1-2 inches on top yur soil and some round the base of yur pots in a dish or bowl be coverin up the drain holes. then i still put just one or two fly strips be catchin the rambo ofem that seem to come outa nowere and yual be good to go I garentee it!
