Just to add some more personal experience with cannabis and the police. On two occasions prior to 1980, I was burglarized, and on both occasions, I told the police that marijuana was taken. An oz both times beside the other normal valuables the thieves take. The cops didn't freak out, say under arrest or give me any other crap. I have to admit, at the time, one was my second cousin, and the other was a state trooper I was on a first name basis with. And this was after having done time for being an idiot in the early 70s and they both knew it. They took the report, investigated, found one thief who denied everything, but I never suffered any further bullshit.

That is a far, far cry from the way things are today. Cops weren't the predators then that they have become today because of the War on Drugs or really Marijuana. And people like Scalia are exactly what the Founders rebelled against. A cop kicking in a door because he smelled something, is no different then a British soldier kicking in a door looking for signs of rebellion.

And authority or that which claims to be authority wonders why I reject nearly everything they supposedly stand for. At the present time, I feel like I'm damn near under constant observation for what ever fucking reason and I have nothing to hide because I will put my shit on the street right here for all to see. This type of government intrusion without true due process and cause really pissed me off. :twocents:
