Ok, so my first grow, which I decided to go hydro on is coming along nicely... but after evaluating things, I want a much bigger yield than I believe I will ever get growing like this. I also find hydro to be expensive, and time consuming, and so I think I'm going to switch to soil. currently I'm running a closet setup under Fluorescents, which I know is not going to be enough light for major yield, but for a first go round I'm ok for now.

So here is the deal... I'm looking to begin growing 36 pounds per year, whether that be 3 harvests of 12 pounds, or 2 harvests of 18 dosen't really matter at this point, I'm just looking for a few answers, and hopefully a little insight. My thought was that I'd invest in the 4ft x 8ft x 6.5ft grow tents, and slap a 1000 watt switchable on each side. that would make 1000 watts to each 4x4 area. I was thinking I'd put 9 plants (clones) in 5 gal nursery pots under each light. I am looking to use only foxfarm soil and nutrients, and black strap molasses during flowering. I know already there are a lot of factors to figure into yield... but my question is, under optimal conditions
(plants vegged to 24" then switched to flower, 77 degrees constant, 70% humidity, 5.5-5.8 ph.) with no co2 should I be able to easily yield 3 oz. dried from each plant, which would make a grand total of 3 lbs, 6 oz. each tent with this setup?

I have looked at sog... but once again the startup cost of everything hydro is more than I am willing to part with, and also it would require me to keep a lot of mothers around in order to get enough clones, which at this point I would not be capable of doing. I have two rooms, in which I could fit 3 of the tents each... 6 tents total, and If I got 3 lbs. per tent, that's 21.6 lbs. which would make it a 2 time a year harvest, and would allow me to sell 18, and keep a 3.6 for the head.

Keep in mind I have not even harvested my first grow yet, so I'm like super noob... I know I've been asking a lot of questions, but I'm really looking to jump in head first and get this thing up and running. So any and all input is majorly appreciated.
