I made a ridiculous olive oil concentrate today. I made QWISO from an ounce of rather low-quality buds, yielding 2+g of pretty nice looking hash oil. I dissolved that into 4oz EVOO, slowly heating it to 220F while stirring.

I had taken 5g of butter made from the same stuff at about 9am, & while it was stronger than I'd expected (yay), I was largely over it. For some reason I was kinda skeptical about this QWISO into olive oil thing. But it was done at 5:30, & I thought, well, far from ideal circs for testing the stuff, but what the hell, & took 5g mixed up in yogurt.

kicked my ass, and none too gently.

THE LORD hath blessed me with the tolerance of a Girl Scout, it is true. But I have been testing & experimenting with tincture, butter & oil for a week & this stuff took me by surprise. I'm just about to finish some crock-potted butter with the same specs - 1oz plant matter into 4 oz oil - & I'll be interested to compare the hash oiled to the straight from plant stuff. I actually think it's quicker & less hassle/mess to do it QWISO-first.

give it a whirl.

very, very high...
grumio Reviewed by grumio on . Eureka! Olive oil concentrate that works! I cannot take credit for the whole idea, I saw it elsewhere in a U-tube and then could not find it again. So went from memory as best as possible and also put some thought into the carboxylation/de-carboxylation process. (that being to keep temps under 225 F to prevent loss of THC, CBD, and CBN's.) The process involves a pressure cooker. Because it involves also oil, it is terribly important to not be so wasted you space out while doing this and cook out the water......The pressure Rating: 5
