    failing

I have two plants that are flowering for almost 4 wks. For the first couple of weeks they were doing great. Now the fan leaves are turning yellow and falling off. My room temp is from 70 - 82 deg, 32 - 40% hum. I was told that it was a nitrigen that was needed. On 12/22/10 I added 15ml of age old kelp to my nutrients and on 12/30/10 I did the same. On 12/9/11 I put 2 tbsp of Nitrozime to my nutrients. I am using Technaflora nutrients at 80% as follows: Boost 15ml X 15 gal = 180ml
    Bloom 15ml 180ml
    Awesome 2.5ml 30ml
    Thrive Red 2.5ml 30ml
    MagiCal 2.5ml 30ml
    Sugar Dad 12.5ml 150ml
Help !!! what am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to correct this problem because as soon as these two are ready (if they make it that far) there are others that will be taking their place. I hope the pics will help.

Hi retired10,well here is what little i know.. in flowering you do not need the nitrogen so much and some strains the leaves will turn like that because the buds are feeding from them..hope this helps..looking good though.. :stoned:

yea, that's normal. you are doing fine.

a fully mature cannabis plant can be an ugly thing.

don't chop it! let it grow

but is it really normal that this many leaves are falling off?? I guess this is what has us worried the most. and the buds seem to be growing very slow..

    That's for sure!

What is the total age of your plants?

Mine usually experience the same thing about a week or two prior to being cut. Some strains are worse than others.

yes, that is really normal. don't stress. you have nothing that needs fixing.

those beautiful hightimes shots are trimmed or at 5 or 6 weeks.

The only suggestion I might make is to take off the seriously yellow leaves if they pull away without much effort.

Otherwise they look good. Will check back to see what happens.

Ya man, as long as all the leaves aren't turning yellow, you'll be ok. Sometimes it could be from nute burn and you can tell if it is the bottom leaves are the first to turn yellow and then it moves up the plant. perhaps try less nutes. Better to error on the side of caution
