Do dispensaries sell starter plants?

I am looking to buy actual plants in the veg state to be planted and maintained (small starters), is this possible? Or will I only find seeds? The reason I ask is because I have had really bad luck with seeds and I am hesitant to try seeds a second time.

Depending on your state, and local government and the laws (in that particular 15 minutes, in other words, local laws change rapidly) which permit dispensaries and / or collectives to sell clones - if in doubt contact your local dispensary and ask.

You'll find clones much faster than seeds (cause the first couple of weeks of growth are bypassed), when first transplanting, make sure your soil is moist (warm water recommended), and put a dome (any clear plastic jar at least 4" wide and 6" tall) on once transplanted for 2 days.

Then start the hardening off process (removing the domes for 20 minutes the 1st day, repeat twice the second day, 3 times the 3rd day - after that they have usually made the switch from getting water/nutrients from the leaves back to the newly developed root system). :jointsmile: and are ready to take off on their own (cute lil' babies .

Additionally - clones are "typically" female, but always ask to verify from new sources. Saving much time and energy; otherwise with clones from a non-reputable source or seeds, you may only find out that you're at the boys-club after all your hard work and efforts.

Many dispensaries in California sell clones grown in rockwool cubes or Rapid Rooters. Usually valued in the $10-15 range, but I have seen anywhere from $5 to $20 depending on the strain and/or supply.

When clone buying, be sure to check the roots that they are white and healthy looking. Inspect for pests too.

certain dispensaries in Michigan do. I think it depends on where you live. However if you're a patient or a caregiver you can get them from a current caregiver i think. or for sure i know in MI at least patient to patient sales are completely legal if you're within your limit
