ONE PLANT HELP!
okay i have a cupboard thats about 1 meter wide and 2 meters high
im planning to use a combination of miraclegro potting mix and B&Q Perlite
the light im planning to use is
125w DUAL SPEC RED BLUE CFL GROW LIGHT KIT HYDROPONICS on eBay (end time 01-Feb-11 20:38:44 GMT)
the strain im growing is white widow and the seed is feminised
i'll water the plants everyday
and be patient
also seeing theres i guess enough space for ONE PLANT
QUESTION 1:would sticking a fan facing upwards sort out ventilation problems?
QUESTION 2: what else could i do to improve QUALITY of bud, im not fussed about low yield just as long as the quality is good
QUESTION 3: will that CFL dual spectrum light do the job of both vegitating AND flowering?
Add any other sort of relevant input if you'd like to
THANKSSS

Google;
Define:heft
Heft - to lift something in order to estimate or judge it's weight.

All will become clear.
As for question 3, you also said; "dont want nothing too complicated"
Without clarification of "too complicated", your light will just have to do, yah?

ONE PLANT HELP!
hi peeps, im new here, sorry to hijack this thred but my questions are along the same lines and i have no idea how to use this forum!!
this is my 1st grow and im using a 2x2 foot space with headroom (a closet) and a 150W hps/mh (i can run both with this ballast)
this grow im using "bagseeds" but have some autos on the way.
my questions are basically
#1...... do i have enough light?
my hps says 16000 lumens.
#2.......the 2 plants have between 5-8 nodes each and are 6-8 inches tall, i want to put them into flowering now but i would just like to know if waiting till they are 12 inches make much diference to quantity or quality? I mean if i flower now, will i finaly yield much less than waiting a few inches?
also if i do flower now at 6-8 inches under a 150W hps in a 2x2 space can you guess at how much it will yield??? i have no idea, this is prob the biggest light i can afford to run at the mo and i just upgraded from cfls during veg and am seein MASSIVE improvments....cfl's dont seem to have the same punch to them as mh, although i do rate them alot.
thanx to any kind people for answering a noobs questionsand sorry again for hijacking this thred, maybe a mod can move this for me!!

ONE PLANT HELP!
Aloha Weezard! Greetings from one tropical savage to another!
Umm 150w is fine if you just have a couple plants.. if you let them grow bigger, bigger yield, thats pretty much how it works.. keep in mind they'll grow lots after you kick the lights to 12/12..

ONE PLANT HELP!
hello there intrepidsavage!! thanx for the reply!!
so a 150 watter will be fine for 2 plants of personal? awesome....you just made a verry happy gardener
just one more questionwill the quallity be any different to using say a 400W? i mean i know a 150W wont yield as much as using 400W but will the quality be compareable? or vastly dissproportionate on one side? and i assume that when you decide to flower has no real impact on quallity, just quantity right?
thanx again for the reply
