You are up against some extremely sleazy people. You would not believe some of the weasels I have met since 1284 was passed who have emerged from the woodwork and involved themselves in this business. I have seen two growers who were caregivers prior to 1284 have their grows and infrastructure stolen from them by the new "partners" with whom they were they were forced into affiliation. I know there are some who would say that no one is forcing anyone to do anything and they can just get out of the business if they don't like it but tell that to a caregiver who had invested in the infrastructure to legally grow quality product for 10 or more patients prior to 1284 being passed. It's a substantial investment to walk away from. I was hired by a center to be a grower but I have decided to be a caregiver for 5 patients who don't want to be treated like criminals when they want to access their meds. I am not against paying taxes but 1284 is a draconian nightmare and needs to be shitcanned in favor of something sane. What you are doing needed to happen.
You are doing the citizens of Colorado a good deed and you have my gratitude and respect.
