Urine Test-Need Help Quick-New Here

Hey I have a urine drug test coming up in the next week at a medical center for a good job. For about 7 weeks, I smoked about 4 grams a month, a gram every 3 days, then I would go home to work so I would not smoke at all till I got back. So i smoked for 3 days, then didnt at all for the next 4 of every week for about 2 months. I have not smoked at all in about 40-50 days. I am about 6'4 and 250 and ive been drinking a lot of water. I took one of the home drug tests for THC and I did have a very faint line on the test line, (which supposedly is a negative test even if it is faint). But that test didnt give me too much confidence. Am I going to be alright and is there anything I should be doing or taking , such as cranberry ive heard. The faint line on the home drug test isnt making me confident even though its supposedly a passing test.

Did you use the first urination of the day when you took the home test?

You need to pick up another home test and use the first void of the day. This is when the THCA concentrations are at their highest levels. After that, any fluid intake dilutes the metabolites enough to drop you below cutoff levels.

If you can pass a home test using the first void of the day, you'll have no problem passing your scheduled UA.

thanks for the feedback. I am still nervous about that home drug test. The line for the test is so faint that it makes me wonder how much of it is actually out of my system.

A faint line is still a negative and, contrary to popular belief, serves as no indicator of THCA levels in the urine. Even synthetic urines (which contain no drug metabolites at all) can produce a faint line on an assay.

But as Deige stated, take one more test this time using the first urination of the day when the THCA concentration would be at its highest (aka; "the worst-case scenario"). If you test negative under that "worst-case scenario", youre good to go. :thumbsup:
