Need help! First time growing.
Can I water plants with neem oil? Is it safe to use it when plants are flowering?

Went into a flowering with spider mites( little bustards ) they attacked my plants pritty hard around 5th week, I sprayed them with Safer Soap, killed them but totally fucked up the plants I think they stopes flowering for few weeks and than bastards came back again right at the end cause my other plants in veggie room were infested as well and I didn't treat them. Yes Neem is safe,.... it can be lightly watered in to the soil as well and will become systemic,.... however Neem stinks to high hell (not in a good way), and will make the plant smell the same if watered in. I'd recommend NOT using neem late in flower for that reason only...... Neem flavored buds would not be a good thing.
The No Pest strips work initially,... but the mites become immune to them after a couple generations, and no one really knows how much of the toxins are absorbed by the buds if used in flowering.
One of my buddy's uses azatrol,.... and still has mites,.... Not sure what the hell he's doing wrong, it's a mix of Neem and a few other oils IIRC.
You can finish the run and have some buggy buds,.... or chop and sanitize.
For your next round tho DO get some Neem oil, (I like Einstein oil (brand name)) Apply once a week in vege, and for the first 2 weeks of flower to keep the new growth covered,.... this has kept my room bug free even after a little scare where I let some infected clones get past quarantine!!!!

As far as overnuting the girls recovered, but in the 5th week of flowering mites came back. I used "no pest" strips to get rid of them before, it worked out fine. Then I introduce lady bags into the flower room for prevention, but I think they are worthless, they don't do shit. I don't understand why marijuana grow bible says that they are natural cure for mites; Bull Shit! Any way I removed strips from the room a while ago and mites came back. It's he end of week 6 now. I got bugs on 5 girls. I vacuumed the girls and put strips back. I'll keep strips for 2 days, hopefully it will kill the bugs, then I'll flush for a week and harvest them. 3 of them a Pineapple express strain it's really smells like pineapple. I'll post some pix of final product later on.
