i have a question about growing and lighting

LIGHTING QUESTION:
ok right now i am germinating a seed and i want to make sure i have the right light... since its one plant can i use a 23W 120V 60Hz 300mA self-ballasted lamp i only have one light bulb would that be good for one plant or not sorry i am a noob on here (if not i will just get more light lol)

GROWING QUESTION:

ok when im first growing do i have to use a cup or what cause honestly i just wanna use my pot i have witch is pretty big would that matter or what.. cause i really dont want to transplant them i know i will mess it up

You will want more light. The more light you give that plant the more bud it will give you. Also depends on the area that the light is trying to over. As for now you want the pland verry close to the light so it wont stretch. most comon rule of thumb is to put your hand under the light and if your comfortable then your plants will be ok...google it, theres alot out there explaining hoe much light and what kind you want. Kelven temp is important

As for the transplanting thing I am wondering the same thing..
