I started germinating seeds Dec 2nd. I planted them about a week later. Transplanted for 2nd time tonight, the ones in white, anyway. They show some damage from first transplant, but roots were coming out the bottom, so they are in their final resting place.

Protect you floor. Put down a plastic tarp under the buckets. Did you put holes in the bottom of your trash cans for drainage? More info on the set up always helps save mis diagnosis. Looks like a hot soil, to me, but who the f am I? Nice wide leaves, I looooooooooooove Indicas.

I just transplanted them, that's worm castings on top.
Well a mixture anyways. Yes there are holes in the bottom, and there will be protection for the floor. Gotta love the skunk! This is the second grow from these seeds, they are from the 80's. I found them going through negatives. I think they are Pinconning Paralyzer, but I can't remember.

I doused them good with my nutes before i went away for a week, probably shouldn't have. They will survive to the next phase. I'm planning on splitting them up into different rooms. I would like to get some seeds to keep this strain alive.

Those look like 4 gallon wastebaskets? You need to veg for at least 2 more weeks to allow the roots to fill in all that extra space. Roots don't grow much, once the flowering 12/12 cycle starts.
I used 4 gallon baskets, too...on my last grow. I only vegged an extra week after transplanted. At harvest the roots of 4 plants had not filled in the container. That is waste of soil. Two other plants in 2 gallon pots grew just as well. Go figure...
ps...wormcastings can keep the soil soggy...beware...
Enjoy your grow.

Thanks, but they are in 5 qt trashcans. I need 3 more. I don't know what i did on my laptop, but it won't let me see pics. My desktop will. It loads on the laptop, just can't see them. I'll figure it out.
On my last grow out of those 8 trashcans I got 5 males and 3 females. The females ended up filling up the closet before harvest.
I've got a pretty good formula for my soil, it hasn't let me down yet. As long as water comes out the bottom a little bit after I pour it on, it should be okay, as far as drainage goes.
Party on Wayne.
