first timer here ... need help plants are browning and dying ... completed form
What is your experience level?
beginner
Your Equipment:
.1) Type and wattage of lights.
300 CFL from home depot with the silver bowl-like reflector and a windshield reflector surrounding the 4 plants
.2) Distance from tops?
4-8" from top of plants
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply?
they are in a closet
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan?
6" circ fan about 2 feet above top of plants
.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule?
Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil, (coco, peat based soilless...) and anything you've added to it. (vermiculite, perlite, worm castings...)
just transplanted into 3 gallon black cloth pots with the miracle grow organic mix potting soil it's a blend of sphagnum peat moss, composted barf fines and natural fertilizer
(but the plants were wilting and turning brown before we repotted
.8) Size of container.

.9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings?
the plants were clones and given to us ... I was told we should move from vegetative stage to flowering stage in 2 weeks
Your nutrients and water:
10) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered) What's it's ph before adjusting?
tap water
11) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...)
haven't tested ph
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule.
I believe I have the the Canna Substra Vega A/B Set ... A has 1-0-2 and B has 1-2-4
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?
I fertilized once (and watered daily) since we got them on Dec 28th and have just watered daily since we've transplanted them on Jan 1
15) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...)

16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate?
i don't know
17) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph?
i don't know
18) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?

19) Indoors or outdoors?

closet ... 2' deep x 3' wide
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off?
mid to high 70s ... the cfl bulb doesn't give off much heat
22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom?
no

By the sound of it ur overwatering them u should feed every other day around 200 - 400 mls per plant I'd let the soil dry up abit leave it about 5 days and then start the watering again but remember every other day !!!

Oh Yh stop the spraying of the plants as the light will dry the leaves out turn them copper with spots on the leaves basically ur drying the leaves more every day by spraying

you have to keep ph stable at around 5.5-5.8, so do invest in some sort of ph tester. even if its a color strip its better than nothing. start with that and we will go from there.
